The biggest challenge you will have with this recipe is that there is usually never enough. It makes an 11x7-inch pan, and is easily devoured by me and my wife and son. Quick, easy, and oh-so delicious. Top with maple syrup and powdered sugar to your liking.Ingredients | French Apple Cake Once Upon A Chefcooking spray4 eggs, beaten½ cup half-and-half½ cup milk1 tablespoon white sugar1 tablespoon vanilla extract1 (8 ounce) loaf French bread, cut into small cubes¼ cup butter3 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored, and cut into small dice¼ cup brown sugar1 teaspoon ground cinnamonDirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 7x11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.Beat eggs, half-and-half, milk, white sugar, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl; add bread cubes and stir to coat. Let soak until bread is moist, at least 10 minutes.Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
